Sencha is the most commonly known green tea. It is produced from the first and second flush tea. Once only drunk by the richer people it can now be enjoyed by everyone.
Our Sencha is harvested here in Australia from the best tea leaves before being taken to the factory where it is steamed, rolled and shaped to give a bright and vibrant tea.
Sencha is brewed at 70-80C for 90 seconds to give a light yellow-green liquor with Sencha's characteristic flavours and aroma. Or brewed cold, to be drunk chilled on a hot summers day. A champion in quenching a hard earned Australian thirst.
